Employer’s Guide to Ramadan

The month of Ramadan will soon be upon us. Ramadan is a time for reflection, contemplation and celebration for many.

As the Islamic calendar is based around the lunar cycle, the Holy month of Ramadan rotates by approximately ten days each year. This year, Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of Sunday 5th May 2019, depending on the sighting of the moon.

Take a look at the attached employer’s guide at https://discover-islam.co.uk/training/resources/ to find out more about Ramadan and what we should know about it as employers or colleagues.
